Upcoming Assignments:
For WEDNESDAY, Jan. 10, bring an example of a fallacy from the real world--politicians, comedians, advertisers, cartoons. The example can be written or spoken, but students must be able to see/hear the fallacy clearly (no audio or video clips longer than 1 min.). We will fill in some of our examples for our FLASHCARDS from the student-gathered fallacies. Those 15 FLASHCARDS, with a name, definition, and example, will be due at the beginning of class FRIDAY, Jan. 12. Need definitions? Check the blog resources from 11-8. There are two lists. Do not get your examples from other quizlets or the internet. Examples should come from class.
